Lightning did fantastic at the 2006 Missouri State Fair Appaloosa Horse Show!!
Lightning took four 1sts in his 2003 Gelding Class
Dalton Kruse of Odessa, MO showed Lightning in Hunter in Hand Geldings at the State Fair show, taking a second and three thirds.
Thank you, Dalton for showing Lightning for us in the class!!!
Lightning is now retired from showing, due to knees, back, hips, shoulders all a mess. This is sad news for us, but we are doing what's best from him. We don't want to irritate his problems no more, and feel we did the right thing.
This was Rose's World Picture at the 1990 World Championship Appaloosa Show, Ft Worth, TX. Friend Marge Williams in photo too. She took 6th Place under all five Judges.
Rose has been retired from being a show horse as well as being a broodmare. This mare is a five time World show qualifier. She was within a half point of getting an ROM with my daughter while she was showing her in Youth mares. She has many Missouri Regional Year end awards and Championships.
Rose is still at my folk's place. Prairie Joker Metat passed away May 31, 2006. Rose took it hard. We now have our Russian Arabian mare, CP Moonlighting with her. It helps that she has company. Both mares are retired.
Rose is 24 years old, and looks great for her age.
Metat had real nice foal, and has earned her retirement. She was only shown in 1990, and she qualified for the World Championship Appaloosa horse show that year. She was a great riding horse, and always been such a good horse to enjoy.
Metat was 15 years old when this picture was taken.
